It was a pretty huge decision for two friends to become business partners.
It was pretty exciting to start to renovate a tired, unused Edwardian townhouse.
It was equally as exciting to research and plan together to run a holiday let for the first time.
It was incredibly scary to suddenly find ourselves in a whole new world - a global pandemic – where our health, financial security and way of life was full of uncertainty. We could have decided to throw in the towel, to give it up and try again after all this has finished. After all, we had only just got started - no harm done, right?
But it was too late – our hearts were already thoroughly invested into the Secret Space and we both knew that, no matter how hard it got, we would continue with our dream and do the best we could.
So, feel free to follow our story from the pre-Covid days (remember them?) to what we managed during Lockdown and, finally, to where we are now and beyond, as we aim to get the Secret Space ready for business, during the strangest of times.
