With Lockdown easing, we are finally able to get a plumber booked in to fit the boiler - albeit with social distancing guidelines being observed.
The house hasn't had proper running water for years, with only a tiny water heater to heat the kitchen tap. The twenty year old boiler has provided heating only, the big water tank upstairs having been removed years ago.
So, this is an exciting day - the old boiler is coming out of the kitchen and a new one fitted in the bathroom, to make sure our guests get good power in their shower!
What a different atmosphere it is in our Space. The normally empty house is filled with noise as the boys work, listening to two different radios, on two different stations upstairs and downstairs!
